Starting A Business
It's important to have a solid foundation for marketing your business in place when starting a business. Here is a short list of a few items to consider:
- Your elevator pitch (or defining statement)
- An opt-in form on your website to collect email addresses
- A lead magnet
- A lead generating landing page (or website)
- A sales funnel
- An email marketing strategy
- Great direct response copy in all your marketing materials
- Your marketing plan
There is much more to consider, but I will save that for our first phone call. The first step in in us working together is to schedule a complimentary 30-minute phone call to discuss your project. Then if we decide to move forward in working together, we will schedule our first call to start clarifying your message, wireframing your website, mapping out your sales funnel, and creating content.
I have been in business for 3 years, and have run other peoples business’s for 11 years. I have attended several “marketing” seminars and classes all over the country. I am now a small business owner in the process of becoming a large business owner. I have read many marketing and self help books, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and Guerilla Marketing to name a few. Mike Coleman was able to “paraphrase” all that I have learned in to an easy, enlightening process. With his experience and knowledge I have saved thousands of dollars on marketing and advertising, money that I can actually put into growing my business. Rarely in this business do you meet people who are actually concerned about your bottom line and your growth. I am a big Dave Ramsey fan, and he preaches that all his advisors have the heart of a teacher, well Mr. Coleman definitely falls into that category. I know without a doubt that you will get more than you paid for, and what you get will last the life of your business. Even though he provides consulting services, I consider him a partner in my business...my personal marketing department.

The presentation you delivered at the breakout session for our PGA Spring Seminar was very well received and right on target for our attendees. We received several positive responses and would definitely like to have you come speak again at one of our upcoming conferences.

The Cheatham County Chamber of Commerce invited Mike Coleman to host a social media presentation to the membership. Mr. Coleman did a wonderful job of explaining the practical use of social media within a business, and each individual left the meeting with information specifically designed to help them implement what they had learned. We would gladly welcome Mr. Coleman back to Cheatham County for additional presentations.

Thank you for the useful information you gave during your presentation. I have been in sales and marketing for 12 years but it is so easy to get off track. I am actually working on some of your ideas to implement in to our prospecting efforts for new business for our agency. The presentation was informative and you made the presentation enjoyable for everyone. Thanks again.
