The late Johnny Carson has been quoted as saying, "Talent alone won't make you a success. Neither will being in the right place at the right time, unless you are ready. The most important question is - Are you ready?"
When you study successful people, you start to realize their answer to this question is always a resounding yes.
They prepare, and most of the time over prepare, for the task at hand and for whatever is coming down the pike.
While most people are watching the latest episode of Survivor, the successful are in the trenches doing what has to be done in their business and in their life to achieve success.
Successful people in life and business are making things happen, or thinking about how to make things happen, all the time.
They are reading, studying, learning, attending seminars, being time defensive, and doing whatever it takes to excel in their chosen field.
Successful people tend to "make it look easy" when the reality is their success is a result of consistent actions they have taken that lead to their success.
Successful people are always ready to take advantage of whatever opportunity presents itself.
Are you one of these successful people? Are you doing everything in your power to achieve success in all aspects of your life - business, relationships, spritual fulfillment, finances, taking care of your health and well-being?
OR
Are you complaining about the economy and how the world is going to hell in a handbasket? Watching the news, listening to the talking heads, and getting caught up in all the political retoric will not lead you down the path to success.
If you want to be ready, you have to turn off all the garbage that's around you and focus on YOUR life and YOUR business.
Are you ready? Are you preparing to face the challenges ahead and doing what has to be done to achieve your version of success? The choice is yours. You can spend your time on things that move you forward ... or not.
My hope for you is that through preparation and ongoing learning, you will be able to answer a resounding YES! to this question posed by the late Johnny Carson.

Your Success,
